Heat pumps & aerothermal
Heating, cooling and hot water from a single unit that draws energy from the air. In the Costa del Sol climate it’s one of the most efficient ways to heat and cool a home, and to warm your pool too.

What’s included
- Air-to-water heat pump installation
- Underfloor heating, radiators or fan coils
- Domestic hot water
- Pool heat pumps
- Annual servicing and performance check
- Fault diagnosis and repair
When to call us
- Your electricity bill has gone up without changing your habits
- Hot water is slow to come through or never gets hot enough
- The pool doesn’t heat up like it used to
- The outdoor unit frosts over or keeps stopping
- An error code shows on the controller
How an aerothermal heat pump works
The outdoor unit extracts heat from the air, even in winter, and transfers it to the water in your system. For every kWh of electricity it uses it can deliver several kWh of heat, which is why it costs far less to run than an electric or oil boiler.
Pool heat pumps
A heat pump lets you extend your swimming season by several months. We size it to your pool’s volume, whether it has a cover and how you use it, and integrate it with your existing pool pump and filter.
Frequently asked questions
Can an aerothermal system cool as well?
Yes, many units are reversible. With underfloor cooling or fan coils, the same system heats in winter and cools in summer.
Can I have a heat pump if I already have radiators?
In many cases, yes. We check your existing radiators and tell you whether they’ll work well at low temperature or if some should be replaced.
How often should a pool heat pump be serviced?
We recommend a service at the start of every season: cleaning the evaporator and checking pressures and water flow.
